are there any Bios updates for my laptop hoping maybe one that will upgrade the speed of my wired network adapter to 1gig. but any that are available would be helpful since I doubt it has ever been upgraded. currently on bios f.31

Hi:
F.39 is the latest update, but that isn't going to make the ethernet adapter work any better.
That is a hardware limitation...100 mbps is the max.
The easiest thing to do to have a faster ethernet connection, since the internal ethernet adapter can't be upgraded would be to purchase a USB to RJ-45 gigabit ethernet adapter, and plug it into an available USB 3 port.
