bluetooth drivers missing compaq presario cq58 PLEASE HELP ASAP

GOOD DAY HP EXPERTS

I AM CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING A TINY PROBLEM WITH MY BLUETOOTH DRIVERS UPON INSTALLING A FRESH COPY OF WNDOWS 8 64BIT ,IT NOW SAYING ralink rt3290 bluetooth driver missing when i goto DEVICE MANAGER ,please provide me with an adequate working link to download drivers ASAP if possible, i really enjoy using the bluetooth with my wireless headphones 😞

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Sounds like you installed a Non-HP OEM version of Windows, which was a BAD idea, as that does not provide the HP drivers needed for your notebook.

ok thanks SIR , but it saying BROADCOMM and not Ralink is it still fine to download and i have windows 8.1 not windows 8 hope that you acknoledge that ?

Broadcom are a different manufacturer entirely. You need drivers for Ralink or Mediatek (Ralink's parent company - they no longer use the Ralink brand for new products) that cover your card and operating system.

I believe the drivers are still out there, but they're not on the download page. Hopefully someone can post the appropriate download link. The only link I can find quickly is what I believe are drivers for your card for Windows 10.

If your notebook has the Ralink RT3290 wifi adapter, you need this BT driver for W8.1 x64...
