I can"t find the switch button for the bluetooth on my probook 4230s, though the wireless is on

Hi:

 

Not all of the 4230s' came with built in Bluetooth, and not all of the wifi/Bluetooth adapters have Bluetooth support for W8.1 due to lack of drivers.

 

If there is no Bluetooth device manager category showing up in the device manager and If you are sure that your notebook had Bluetooth, then the only suggestion I can offer would be to make a bootable Ubuntu installer, boot from it, and select the 'Try Ubuntu Without Installing' option.   Turn the Bluetooth on in Ubuntu, shut down the PC, remove the Ubuntu installer and the next time you are back in Windows, the Bluetooth should be working, or at least showing up in the device manager.
