Hello, wasn't sure what to post this under. I have the hp wireless mouse 200 and I'm trying to pair it with my bluetooth laptop but it wont do it. HP online manual is just pictures which dont make the process clear at all and all the written instructions are in every other language other than english.

The laptop is this one and the bluetooth is turned on. It just wont find it. The product page only lists hp laptops as being compatible but surely that isn't the case?

I posted the link to the laptop I got above. Is the mouse only compatible with hp laptops as the details for the mouse only list hp products? I've been onto microsoft support who did remote assistance and couldn't fix it and they said its probably the bluetooth in the mouse itself though it works wireless with the dongle which I could continue doing or get a new mouse but I'd be wary of any bluetooth mouse by hp since this one doesn't work

I was having similar problem with my Bluetooth mouse and this worked for me
Win 10 > go to settings > Bluetooth devices > add new device > search for device > found device good | failed to detect troubleshoot and it will fix the issue itself most of the times.
Otherwise update your drivers via Windows update tool or manually hope it will work eventually and you can also check if your mouse is functioning properly via
this site : https://joltfly.com/mouse-test/
Moreover, make sure you are not around any access point / modem as it can interfere in signals.
I hope my answer helped
