Hi:

1. Check the BIOS to verify the bluetooth radio is present and enabled.

2.  If it is present but disabled, enable it.

3.  If it is present and enabled, then you will need to do this...

Make a bootable Ubuntu installer.

Boot from the installer and select the option to 'Try Ubuntu without installing.'

Turn on the Bluetooth in Ubuntu.

Shut down the PC, remove the bootable Ubuntu installer and when you get back into Windows, the BT should be present and working.

4. If there is no Bluetooth device present, then your notebook did not come with built in bluetooth.

Links to the Ubuntu download and how to make a bootable Ubuntu installer...

Get Ubuntu | Download | Ubuntu

Create a bootable USB stick on Windows | Ubuntu
