Hi @es49 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing issues with the Bluetooth pairing pop-up not displaying the bottom half on your HP Pavilion 590-P0044 running Windows 10, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Update Bluetooth Drivers: Ensure that your Bluetooth drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to the HP support website, entering your PC model, and downloading the latest Bluetooth drivers for your system.

Restart Bluetooth Services:

  • Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
  • Type services.msc and press Enter.
  • Locate "Bluetooth Support Service" in the list.
  • Right-click on it and select "Restart."

Check Bluetooth Settings:

  • Open the Settings app by pressing Win + I.
  • Go to "Devices" and select "Bluetooth & other devices."
  • Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Click on "More Bluetooth options" and check the box that says "Show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area."

Check Display Settings:

  • Sometimes, display scaling or resolution issues can affect the visibility of pop-up windows. Ensure that your display settings are set to the recommended resolution and try adjusting the display scaling settings.

Update Windows: Make sure that your Windows operating system is up to date. Updates can include bug fixes and improvements that may resolve issues with Bluetooth functionality.

Use the Action Center:

  • Click on the Action Center icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of the screen).
  • Check if Bluetooth is listed there. If it is, you might be able to access pairing options directly from the Action Center.

Try Alternative Pairing Methods:

  • Instead of relying on the pop-up, try going to the Bluetooth settings directly in the Settings app and initiate the pairing process from there.

Check for Third-Party Software Conflicts:

  • Some third-party software or security applications may interfere with Bluetooth functionality. Temporarily disable or uninstall such software to check if it resolves the issue.

Perform a System Restore: If the issue started recently, you might consider using the System Restore feature to revert your system to a state where Bluetooth was working correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
