When I am working with the laptop for a while my Wi-Fi connection disappears and I can not connect to any wireless network. I will attempt to troubleshoot with the Google Chrome and more often than not, my entire computer hangs and I will have to restart again. I am wondering whether will it be possible to switch out my wifi card, will that help? Also, if I were to switch out the wifi card, will it be technically feasible for a beginner and what sort of wifi card will you suggest?
Product Number: J4A09PA#AB4
Will appreciate any help thanks

Hi:
This would be the latest W10 wifi driver HP has for your notebook. W10 should have installed a newer driver than this one.
7.35.351.0

Replacing the wifi card is not very easy. But that is all relative. It may be easy for you after you read the manual.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure in chapter 6.
If the Broadcom wifi card has two antenna wires attached to it like it shows in the manual, then you can upgrade to the Intel 3160 AC wifi card listed in the manual...
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + BT 4.0 combo adapter HP part # 710662-005.
You may be able to find that model wifi card on eBay by searching by the HP part number.
