Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06146800
The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1 on page 2.
Looks like you can upgrade to 2 x 8 GB of memory.

The 'memory is non user accessible/ Non-upgradeable' means that HP doesn't want the customers to upgrade the memory themselves, but by an authorized HP service center.
If you look at the memory removal and replacement procedures in the service manual (shown in chapter 5), and feel you can do the job yourself without breaking anything in the process, thus voiding the warranty, feel free to do so.
And that of course pertains to the specific model that was referenced in the original post.
If you have a different model then please start a new topic.

It is the same model
It looks a bit tricky, never done anything like that before.
Is there a specific Type of RAM i would need to buy.
What kind of things can go wrong?
And where would i find a Service centre ?

I wouldn't be able to answer any of your questions other than for the memory, to check the Crucial website for compatible memory.
The site is currently down for an upgrade.
Looking at the procedure, I agree with you...personally, I wouldn't do it myself.
I've only replaced internal notebook components on older models where there were access panels easily removed to install wifi cards, hard drives and memory.
