Hello! I own an HP EliteBook 845 G8 5 Pro Ryzen notebook PC which has a SIM card slot. Can I use a SIM card with my PC?

Every EliteBook 845 G8 has a SIM card slot.

 

What 90% of them don't have is the optional and expensive WWAN adapter that you need to connect to a cellular network.

 

You can use your notebook to connect to a cellular provider's network if it has one of the following WWAN adapters listed in the device manager under the Network Adapters device manager category:

 

Intel XMM 7360 LTE

Classic LTE UICC
