hi so i just got the hp pavillion x360 convertable and i ran into a random issue where my wifi would not connect to my 5ghz but rather it can connect to my 2.5 ghz the problem is that i dont like the 2.5 ghz as it is very slow i have reseted my laptop updated the drivers and whatnot but still cant figure out whats wrong with it if anyone of u can help me that would be great 

 

( i cant switch of my wifi as i have active family members using it ) the problem isnt with my wifi as it connected fine with my other laptop which has the qualcomm wifi chipset

There are thousands of hp pavillion x360 models/products around ? What is yours ? Looks like your machine ONLY supports 2.4GHz (not 2.5GHz) networks.

 

Depending on what is your machine, you may be able to replace existing wifi adapter to get a better one.
