I’m trying to setup my factory reseted laptop but I am encountering a problem with the network, the AI asked me to select a network and put in the password, after I connect to the network and press next. It takes me to a page that says checking connection to Microsoft this might take a while. After five minutes it says something happened and takes me back to the network page and asks me to select a network again. It’s a endless loop

@Anish1527
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Are you using created HP recovery media?
- Have you tried setting up a computer without internet?
- Are you able to login into windows connected account?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
- Close all open windows and programs.
- Open Internet Explorer, select Tools > Internet options.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, select Reset.
- In the box, Are you sure you want to reset all Internet Explorer settings?, select Reset.
