Hi @pratheeshan,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you have an HP Compaq Presario laptop and you are having issues installing the drivers. Don't worry I'll do my best to help you with this.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Could you provide me with the exact model of the notebook? Please use this link to help you find this information: http://hp.care/2bygf7l
Have you recently made any software or hardware changes on the PC before the issue started?
Did it happen after a recent software update?
If this happens to be a HP G6000 Notebook PC series, I did go through the Software and driver download page and found that there are no drivers available for Windows 10, it only has drivers for Windows Vista and this could be one of the reasons why you are having issues installing the drivers.
I would personally suggest the better option would be to purchase a new PC.
If it happens to be a different product altogether, request you to please respond to this post with the details so that I can provide you with the right information.
Eagerly waiting for your response!
I hope you have a good day ahead,
And Feel free to ask your queries as this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.
Regards,
Jeet_Singh

Hi @pratheeshan,
Thank you for replying,
As I understand you are having issues with the drivers, this seems to be an older PC due to which there are no drivers available for Windows 10. In this scenario, Windows 10, will automatically install the drivers, If for some reason the driver is not getting installed, then please look for the driver name and then check if the latest drivers are available from the manufacturer's website.
I hope this answers your question, let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.
Regards,
Jeet_Singh
