Hi, @Progrex :

If you are getting the wifi is disabled by the device manager notification, then you need to install the wireless card driver.

This package contains drivers for the supported Broadcom Wireless LAN Adapters in the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems.

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

That's what a "clean installation" does -- it cleans out ALL the old stuff and replaces it, so of course, all your drivers and anything else left over from the prior install would be gone!

You'll have to load ALL your HP drivers yourself, as Microsoft only installs generic drivers.

Did you not research this before you decided to do a "clean install"?

No not really but I have problems installing the network drivers as stated above

OK, understand ...

Problem is, there are several Network drivers listed on the HP product page for your PC, each for different hardware:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-ENVY-14-1100-Beats-Edition-Notebook-PC-series/424...

Usually, in situations like, these, where multiple drivers are available, the best solution is to let HP Support Assistant (HPSA) find and download the drivers for you.

Since you did a clean-install, HPSA is most likely NOT installed.  In that case, you can get it from here:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03467905

Good Luck

Hi:

There is a recommended order of driver installation.

The issue you are facing is one of the reasons why.

1. You have to install the Intel chipset installation utility and restart the PC before installing any other driver.

2.  Install the graphics driver and restart the PC.

3. Install the Audio driver and restart the PC.

4. Install the ethernet driver and restart the PC.

I suggest you use the latest chipset driver from Intel and not the one on the support page.

Download, unzip and run the setup.exe file from the link below and restart the PC.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20018/INF-Update-Utility-Primarily-for-Intel-6-5-4-3-900-S...

Now, if you still get the Realtek Network Controller was not found error, then download and install the driver directly from Realtek.  You want the 2nd driver on the list.  Unzip and run the setup application.

Should i uninstall all driver before installing by order? If yes how do i unintsall those?

HP Recommended

Hi:

No, you don't have to uninstall any of them.

For now, just install  the chipset driver I posted, restart the PC and install the Realtek ethernet driver I posted, if that is the only issue you have.

If you have to reinstall Windows in the future, just keep the above info in mind.

Where am I suppose to find the drivers at the website? Its so complicated because the error pop up again.

For the other drivers it is working fine but for the network drivers I find something weird like after i install it, it didnt pop up any message saying install was successful or an error. Is this normal?

These are the drivers you need from the website...

This package contains the Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Chipset Installation Utility installs .INF files on the target notebook. These files indicate to the operating system how the chipset components are

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp49501-50000/sp49534.exe

This package provides the Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver that enables the Realtek Network Interface Card (NIC) Chip in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp50501-51000/sp50657.exe

You may also need to install the HP Connection manager software, restart the PC and use the software to turn on the ethernet adapter.

This package provides the HP Connection Manager for the supported notebook running a supported operating system.

If none of the above works, it is very possible the ethernet chip on the motherboard is no good.

That would be the only other reason you are getting that error.
