Product: pavilion g6 a1z91wa
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

reloaded windows. now no driver for wifi or network. wifi hardware says pci/ven-14e4&dev4727, My laptop product number is A1Z91UA#ABC. My serial number is [Personal Information Removed].

so what is the wifi adapter. since I dont have a model number I cant figure it out.

Is the adapter Atheros, Broadcomm, RAlink? or what. Could someone tell me how to get a driver?

Why doesnt HP put a model number on thier machines? Pavilion G6 series is pretty generic.

Hi:

 

Looks like HP retired support for that model notebook (G6-1C13ca) since it is more than 10 years old.

 

That is why you can't find any drivers for it.

 

You need these wifi and bluetooth drivers for the Broadcom wifi card your notebook has.
