I am trying to add my Sky/Yahoo email to my new HP laptop. I have found the page that says add new account and clicked on Yahoo below. I then get a message that says "connection to the system." The circular arrow then goes round for ages but does not establish the connection to add password and details to complete the task.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Welcome to the HP English Community --
Windows Computer wants a Microsoft account sign-in.
Any old email won't do it.
If you don't have a Microsoft email account, it's probably time to consider getting one.
Microsoft will let you create a Microsoft account using your own Email as long as the protocols in the email are compatible with Microsoft requirements.
Microsoft - Create and / or Sign in with a Microsoft Account
If you hate that idea more than anything you have ever read, you can sign into your new Windows computer with a "Local" account. Not everything will work as expected; the local account will get you into your computer so you can create a user account.
