Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought the model hp 1040 g4 1EP84EA, there is a slot for microsim but when I enter it is not recognized

Does your model have a WWAN card?

 

Most don't, and you need both a WWAN (intenral mobile broadband adapter) and a SIM card for the mobile broadband to work.

 

The wireless specs for your notebook's product number (1EP84EA) only show that it comes with AC wifi and bluetooth.
