Hi, I can see that this question has been asked for other laptops, I can't see if this has been asked for this particular one (if so sorry for repeating the question).
I currently have an Intel Dual Band Wireless AC-7265, this is running VERY hot now and I will like to replace it. Is there a better listed alternative that I can choose from (buying online myslef).
thanks for all the help!

@Bard0 I suggest you visit the HP service and maintenance guide for details of wireless cards tested and approved by HP for your device: click here to access the file (as shown in the below image)
(As an upgrade/custom enthusiast I personally love the idea of upgrading the device as well, However, HP recommends that you go easy on it as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, the upgradeable parts listed above are purely for your ease, though the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion)
Alternatively, you can order a plug & play USB wireless dongle and use it as its compatible with all devices and you don't have to make major changes to the hardware components of your device, also, if I may add - its cost effective too, but the choice is yours, and yours alone! 😉
P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉
