Hi @,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your concern!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Chrome OS does not support traditional driver installations like Windows or macOS, but your HP wireless mouse should work automatically via plug-and-play. If your mouse isn't working, try these steps:
1. Check Connection Type
USB Receiver (2.4GHz Mouse):
- Unplug the USB dongle, wait 5 seconds, then plug it back in.
- Try using a different USB port.
- Restart your Chromebook and check if it works.
Bluetooth Mouse:
- Click on the Clock (bottom-right corner) > Settings ⚙️ > Bluetooth.
- If your mouse is listed but not working, remove it and re-pair.
- Ensure your mouse is turned on and in pairing mode (check the manual for instructions).
2. Restart Chromebook
- Sometimes a simple restart can fix connection issues.
