Hey there! @mneradmr, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand you have issues charging the Bluetooth speaker.
Also, I understand your concern and situation so don't worry I'd like to help you out.
Have you tried connecting the speaker to a different device?
Is the Bluetooth speaker completely charged?
Have you tried checking with a different USB cable?
Try checking with a different USB cable and a different wall outlet.
Check if the cables are securely connected to the bluetooth speaker.
Battery light
-
When the light is on, the batter is charging.
-
A blinking light indicates the battery is low.
-
When the light is off, the battery is charged.

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps. It is a hardware issue with the bluetooth speaker.
