Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My hp Notebook (8CG71504V9) doesn't connect tot my internet amplifier (but only when it's 5GHz, with 2.4Ghz ther is no problem), my brothers older hp computers don't have a problem at all... What do i need to do now?

Hi:

 

Most likely your notebook has a wifi adapter that can only connect to the 2.4 GHz wifi band.

 

What model wifi adapter does it have?

 

If you don't know, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category.

 

There you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.
