Operating System: Linux

i discovered my laptop freezes when using google chrome both on windows and linux, it also hangs when playing light online game but wont hang when playing heavy offline games like fifa. the only difference is when using chrome after bout 5mins it completely crashes but when playing games(online) it only hangs.
