The parts list for your notebook indicates that it does not come with the optional WWAN adapter required to connect to a cellular network.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

In order to use mobile broadband your notebook must have one of the two WWAN adapters installed that are listed in chapter 3 of the service manual.
