my laptop updated and all of a sudden my wifi cannot be found. It picks up other wifi's just not my home network. Other devices such as smart tv, phone, table all pick up the wifi just not the laptop... what's going on ???? i already updated the drivers, un installed and re-installed some of them, reset the network, change the wifi from the task manager to not be turned off to save power,,, any suggestions

Sooo problem semi fixed.... I called my cable company they came out and gave me a newer box. Also they had to split the speeds of the wifi. Apparently there is a 2.4 and a 5.0 or something like that. Some computers and other things that need wifi can't connect to the 5.0.. my laptop is now able to pick up the wifi and it worked when the tech was here. But now it's super slow and not really connecting to every website. I get a message that said page took to long to load or something like that. So half way there I guess

Any answers? I am facing the same problem. Tried different methods involving network manager but nothing worked. What should I do?
