the wifi keeps  dropping out the only way to get back on is to restart my laptop i can bring up the net work setting but it will say no internet connection and when i go into known networks it is grey scale and i cant get in so i have to restart to get back onto the web this is a new laptop and im so upset that i payed money for it im not happy at all

Hi:

 

If your notebook has the RTL8852AE WiFi card, see if manually updating the driver to the version I zipped up and attached below resolves the problem.

 

6001.10.351.0

 

Download and unzip the driver I attached to its folder.

 

Do not do anything with the files in the folder.


Go to the device manager.

 

Click to expand the Network adapters device manager category.

 

Click on the Realtek Wi-Fi adapter.  Click on the driver tab.

 

Click on Update driver.

 

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.

 

Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

 

Then restart the PC.
