Hi @NeilSawhney,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HyperX headphones are no longer connecting after an HP BIOS update and are not showing up in the NGENUITY software, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to initiate the pairing process.

  • Restart the Laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues after a BIOS update.
  • Check Device Manager: Ensure that your internal wireless audio adapter is properly recognized and functioning in the Device Manager. If there's any issue, try updating the driver for the wireless adapter.
  • Reset the Headphones: Most wireless headphones have a reset option. Refer to the user manual of your HyperX headphones to find out how to reset them to factory settings. Once reset, you can attempt to pair them again.
  • Forget and Re-Pair: If your headphones were previously paired, try forgetting the device from your laptop's Bluetooth settings and then re-pairing them.
  • Update HyperX NGENUITY Software: Ensure that you have the latest version of the HyperX NGENUITY software installed on your laptop. Sometimes, updates to the software can fix compatibility issues.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: HyperX headphones sometimes receive firmware updates that can improve connectivity and performance. Check if there are any available updates for your specific model of headphones and apply them if necessary.
  • Roll Back BIOS Update: If you suspect that the BIOS update is the root cause of the issue and it's critical for your headphones to function, you may consider rolling back the BIOS update to a previous version. However, this should be done with caution and following HP's instructions to avoid any potential issues with your laptop's system stability.

By following these steps, you should be able to initiate the pairing process for your HyperX headphones and resolve any connectivity issues caused by the HP BIOS update.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
