Check your CPU temperature, the latest Windows 10 update causes Cortana to hog up to 40% of the memory,
My CPU temperature went from the normal 40 Celcius to 71 Celsius. Check it with this free program:
I had a computer repair shop tech come to my home to disable the Cortana and install a USB Wi-Fi card.
