Hi:

Please post the hardware ID for the Network Controller device.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...

I downloaded the drivers you mentioned and installed them reboot the system but problem still persists

If i try update driver and search automatically for updated driver it says

Windows found the drivers for your device but error occured while attempting to install them

Driver mentioned is

Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn Wi-fi adapter

I tried uninstalling that driver and downloaded it from hp site and installed it again but still problem persists

Please help me out this has become a big headache

HP Recommended

Yes, it is a big headache.

The driver should have installed automatically and your other efforts to get it to install should have worked too.

So the only suggestion I can offer would be to reinstall W10 and try those drivers again first thing.

Thanks for your consistent help

Backing up whole data and Reinstalling W10 again would be quite hectic😥

If possible please tell me any other solution

I would provide full details of the issue whatever u need

Let me start with how the problem came into picture

My wifi was getting disconnected automatically so i thought it was a problem with deiver so i uninstalled the wifi driver and again reinstalled it and afterwards wifi was working fine

After few days again same problem started so i again uninstalled the  driver and try to install it but this time it didnt install so i used the network reset option in network settings and system restarted but still driver wasnt installed

And when i opened device manager it showed yellow exclamation mark in network controller under unknown devices

Then i tried unistalling and reinstalling the driver but it is not getting installed it says windows found the driver but can not install at the time and yellow mark persits
