HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer

My printer was functioning just fine with my laptop until one day it just wasn't connecting anymore.  I've tried a dozen suggestions given on the HP support app but nothing has functioned.  I'm lost as to what to do next.  On top of that HP keeps charging me for use of paper or ink I'm not even using!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your HP DeskJet 2755e All-In-One Printer. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the connection issue.

 

Check Physical Connections:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your laptop via USB or Wi-Fi.
  • If using Wi-Fi, make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your laptop.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your printer and your laptop. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Uninstall the printer drivers from your laptop and reinstall them. You can download the latest drivers from the official HP website.

Check Printer Status:

  • Make sure there are no error messages or issues displayed on the printer's control panel.

Update Firmware:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes fix connectivity problems.
