Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear that for your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010/9020 series, HP recommends reinstalling or updating the printer software/firmware from HP support if printing fails.
 

What to do:

Reset the printer:
 

  • Turn off the printer.
     
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power source.
     
  • Wait 60 seconds.
     
  • Plug it back directly into a wall outlet.
     
  • Turn the printer back on.

Install or update HP software/drivers:
 

  • Go to Official HP® Support and download the available printer software or firmware for your model.
     
  • Run the HP installer and follow the prompts.

Update firmware:
