Hi @deteeengineer,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I'm sorry to hear about the connectivity issues you're experiencing with your HP Laptop. It must be frustrating to see both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi struggling to connect despite your efforts to update drivers and troubleshoot. Let’s see if we can get your devices back online.

  • When did this issue first start—after a recent update, or has it been ongoing?
  • Are you able to see the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi adapters listed in the Device Manager, and if so, do they show any error codes or warning icons?
  • Have you tried connecting the laptop to a wired Ethernet connection, and if so, does it work?

Let's try these steps.

Power Cycle the Laptop and Router: Shut down the laptop, unplug it, and turn off your router for about a minute. After powering them both back on, check if the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity improves.

Reset Network Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
  • Click on Network reset and follow the prompts to reset all network adapters. This can often resolve underlying issues with connectivity.

Reinstall Network Adapters in Device Manager:

  • Open Device Manager and expand Network adapters.
  • Right-click on the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi adapters (RTL8723DE in your case) and choose Uninstall device.
  • Restart the laptop, and Windows should automatically reinstall the drivers. After this, check if the red X disappears and if connectivity is restored.

Run Windows Network Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  • Select Network Adapter and then Run the troubleshooter. This will help identify any network issues that Windows can resolve automatically.

Update BIOS and Chipset Drivers:

  • Go to the HP Support website, enter your laptop model (15-ra011ni), and download any recommended BIOS and chipset updates. Outdated BIOS or chipset drivers can sometimes cause hardware communication issues, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

If these steps don’t help, there may be an underlying hardware issue with the network card itself.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
