ryzen 3 2200U vs athlon silver 3050U my current laptop is a hp pavilion 15 with a amd athlon silver 3050U. someone gave me a busted up hp pavilion 15 that is identical to what i currently have, it has a ryzen 3 2200U in it. the motherboard are identical, no different between them, so much si that when i look in the repair manual it lists the ryzen 3 mobo as a compatible mobo for my system... worth switching mobos and putting the ryzen 3 into my laptop? its basically a drop in replacement. this is not the 1st mobo that i swapped on this laptop, i got it used with a amd a6 cpu but swapped the mobo in 2022.
