Hi there, i have a HP elitebook 840 g4 notebook which have a sim card slot but it is not working. whenever i insert a sim card, there is no network signal. please tell me how to activate that sim card slot and get access to the network via my sim card

Hi:

 

Every Elitebook 840 G4 has a SIM card slot.

 

What 90% of them don't have is the optional and expensive WWAN adapter option which is needed to connect to a cellular network.

 

Your PC does not have that option.
