Did you buy option WWAN card for your machine ? Without WWAN card, SIM card is useless. Please Device Manager, does it have the HP It4132 LTE/HSPA+ 4G with GPS M.2 WWAN module and HP hs3210 WW HSPA+ without GPS WWAN module entry ?
