Hi There!
Is it possible to PXE network boot the Spectre X2 12 to allow MDT/WDS remote build functions?
We've tested a USB-C to USB-A adapter, coupled with a USB to RJ-45 adapter, but this isn't working. We've since found the following two HP products:
- USB-C™ to RJ45/USB3/ USB-C™ Adapter :: Part number N2Z64AA
- HP USB-C™ to RJ45 Adapter :: V7W66AA
Would you know if these are compatible with the Spectre X2 12, and whether PXE is possible with them?
Many thanks.
Darren

Checking the BIOS simulator shows that network booting is apparently an option. See the following images.
HP has, at this point. not provided any detailed information on with which OS and which components of the (PXE) network boot environment will be useable with the x2 Split ultrabook. This is a very new product. Your request for information on how to set this up is beyond the intended scope of this forum.
The HP USB-C™ to RJ45 Adapter :: V7W66AA you asked about is not published as being compatible with the Spectre x2 -12 Detachable PC.
The V8Y76AA#ABL USB Type-C to RJ45 Adapter is sold as an option and is compatible with the Spectre X2- 12 Detachable PC. See the following URL for more information
