Hi @Mani4911,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you have installed the software for the HP lt4120 LTE/EVDO/HSPA+ Snapdragon X5 LTE Mobile Broadband Module, but are still unable to enable the cellular option, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check compatibility: Ensure that the HP lt4120 LTE module is compatible with your specific laptop model. Some modules may only work with certain models or require specific firmware versions.
  • Update drivers and firmware: Visit the official HP support website and download the latest drivers and firmware for your laptop model. Install these updates and restart your computer. Sometimes, outdated drivers or firmware can cause issues with cellular functionality.
  • Check BIOS settings: Enter the BIOS settings of your laptop and make sure that the WWAN (Wireless Wide Area Network) or cellular option is enabled. The exact steps to access the BIOS may vary depending on your laptop model, so consult the user manual or the manufacturer's support website for instructions.
  • Verify SIM card: Ensure that you have inserted a valid and activated SIM card into the SIM card slot of your laptop. Check with your cellular service provider to confirm that the SIM card is compatible with the HP lt4120 module.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
