I have a HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-eu0xxx and updated to windows 11 is the only change that has been made. Now I have no option for wifi and looking in drivers I also don't have a wifi driver installed. Is there any help for this?

Thank you!

Hi @ssargent849,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the no WiFi issue after updating to Windows 11 on the HP ENVY x360 Convertible!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Verify Windows Update

First, check if your system has the latest updates from Windows. Sometimes critical drivers are included in these updates.

  1. Open Windows Settings:
    • Press Win + I to open Settings.
  2. Navigate to Update & Security:
    • Click Windows Update in the left sidebar.
    • Click Check for updates.

Install the Latest Wi-Fi Driver

  1. Access HP Support:
  2. Identify Your Device:
    • Enter your product number 15m-eu0xxx or use auto-detection.
  3. Download Wi-Fi Driver:
    • Look for the Network/Wi-Fi drivers section.
    • Download the latest Wi-Fi driver compatible with Windows 11.
  4. Install the Driver:
    • Run the downloaded driver setup and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Use HP Support Assistant

HP Support Assistant can automatically check and install the necessary drivers for your device.

  1. Download HP Support Assistant:
  2. Launch HP Support Assistant:
    • Follow the setup instructions upon installation.
  3. Run Updates:
    • Open HP Support Assistant and navigate to updates.
    • Run the updates to check for and install the missing Wi-Fi driver.

Manual Driver Update via Device Manager

  1. Open Device Manager:
    • Press Win + X and select Device Manager from the menu.
  2. Network Adapters:
    • Expand the Network adapters section.
    • If the Wi-Fi adapter is missing entirely, proceed to the next step.
  3. Scan for Hardware Changes:
    • Right-click anywhere in the Device Manager window and select Scan for hardware changes.
    • If the Wi-Fi adapter appears, right-click it and select Update driver.
  4. Browse for Drivers:
    • Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
    • If this does not find the driver, select Browse my computer for drivers, and point to the folder where you downloaded the driver from HP's website.

I hope this helps.
