pavilion 15 - p258nl

 Hello Everyone 

I have a Hp pavilion  15 - p258nl with Combo 802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth 4.0 i wonna upgrade my Wireless Card for another one with the AC profile, i need a list with compatibility matrix to buy a new network card 

could you help me ?

Hi:

 

More than likely, your notebook only has one antenna attached to the present wireless card with no other antenna available.

 

You would first have to open your notebook up and see if there are two antennas present that you can attach to a wireless AC card.

 

You would not be able to upgrade to a dual band wifi AC card unless there are two antennas present to attach to the wireless card.

 

The work to add a second antenna would be extensive, requiring complete disassembly of the notebook, including the display panel area to run a second antenna.

 

Do not rely on the picture in the service manual to confirm that your notebook has two antennas.
