Hi, @altairus;
Yes, you have two antennas, so you should be all set.
That is the card you need to get on the link you posted.

Unfortunately no, BIOS whitelist is there in your model series.

Hi, @altairus :
Looks like your notebook has an Intel 3rd generation core processor, correct?
If so, see this discussion. You can install different wlan cards in your Intel chipset based notebook.

I correctly understood that wi-fi the intel 7260AC adapter will suit my notebook?
is it compatible? - https://www.amazon.com/710661-001-Intel-Wireless-ac-7260-Pci-express/dp/B00PDLCFL8/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&i...
Below I attached a photo of the adapter which is set regularly now.

You're very welcome, Visruth.
There are two dv6/7-7xxx versions...ones with the Intel 3rd gen processors and ones with the AMD processors.
I do believe you can change the wireless cards in the AMD models too, but I can't find the posts regarding that.
A very long time ago, I once posted the same info you did, which I thought at the time was correct...a whitelist was in those models.
Some troll out of nowhere blasted me to kingdom come, and said they put a dual band card in their dv6-7xxx AMD processor notebook, and if I wasn't going to post the correct info..., blah, blah, blah.
You may even find that post if you search. LOL!
Of course the person couldn't be nice and just state the facts. They have to belittle you, and make you feel like an idiot.
I guess that is what trolls do.

Well I don't know how to thank you Paul. You've shed more light to my ignorance.
Your good mind to help with pure facts and huge experience (good and bad) is what makes you a gem of a person.
I have huge respect for you 🙂
You can jump in any time on any of my posts to correct me. It would be helpful to me and others.
Regards
Visruth
