I have an issue with the OEM wifi card not being recognized with some wifi 5 or 6 systems.  I installed an upgraded card that supports wifi6 and the sytem did not recognize the component and wouldn't boot.  Is there a way to boot with the upgraded

card?

The PC has a BIOS whitelist which blocks the installation of any other model Wi-Fi card from working other than the ones listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual.

The cards also have to have the specific HP part numbers, or they will not work.

I recommend that if you want to upgrade the Wi-Fi, to buy a dual band USB Wi-Fi adapter.

If your notebook does not have Bluetooth, this model is both dual band AC and has Bluetooth.
