Hi,

Check with your suppor at workt, you need to use the right DSN for the Network setup to be able to use your work Network. You only need 30 seconds to setup but must be the right one which I don't know.

You may need to speak directly to the administrator of your VPN regarding encryption and authentication.

Your work VPN must have a gateway for you to access the VPN from outside of the industry..

thanks, i did get a hold of them and they actually set it up twice because they didnt know what the problem was. They got to the point where they just told me it was my network that was messed up. the first time they set it up it worked fine but i had a virus on my lap top, and once i got rid of it that's when this happened

As far as i know of all the info needed for that was already been set up on my lap top. They set me up with the right way to go so i can just click on a icon and i just need to put in my password.

Hi,

I don't know how your IT people setup for your machine. In my case, I can't use my private laptops to logon to work Network(s) even moving the smart card to my private machines. I work-from-home 2 days/week and must use work laptop to be able to logon. Yes, just a click and enter the password (actually PIN).

Some Organizations provide a gateway... like mine to access selected contant of the organizations website....

if you are using a router then try updating the firmware

So far I know you need to ask you work IT staff about that.

You should provide a correct DSN name to connect to your work VPN server.

Are you sure that you're mean 'DSN' and not 'DNS'  by the way?
