My wifi happily connects with my mobile hotspot, but whenever I connect with wifi networks it connects and disconnects automatically. it's a new laptop from day 1 I am facing this problem I thought updates will fix it but it doesn't. other laptops happily stay on that wifi network but this laptop disconnects automatically.

pls solve my issue

(2Download and install BIOS Update

Why should you install the update ?

Let me check your basic system configuration before you ride on the <wireless> wave ...

 

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

--->>> Copy/screenshot/paste following key/value pairs:

 

OS Name

Version

System Model

System SKU

( equals HP product number (p/n) )

Processor

BIOS Version/Date

BaseBoard Product

BaseBoard Version

 

(2) Start Windows <Device Manager>

- Expand <Network adapters>

- Expand <Other devices> ? (Those entries are for hardware for which Windows has not loaded a suitable driver)

(1) What wireless access point ( brand / model ) do you use ?

(2) Wireless settings 2.4 and 5 Ghz ?

(3) Manual or Auto Channel ?

(4) Channel Width

2.4 Ghz

20 Mhz / 40 Mhz ?

5 Ghz

20 / 40 / 80 / 160 Mhz ?

(1) Change Channel to manual.

Manually test different channels. Often, surrounding WLAN access points use the same channel, which causes interference.

(2) Change Channel Bandwidth to 20 Mhz.
