hi, my wireless driver does not appear on the device manager but only realtek PLe FE family controller is there hence cant connect to my wifi router.Im using Compaq CQ58-200sx , windows 8 , 32 bit

I see you are experiencing Wi-Fi issues with the Compaq Notebook PC.

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • Update Wireless LAN Adapter Driver from HP.COM from this link
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date. 
  • Try doing Reset PC from windows and check if it works.
