Operating System: Linux


I would like to replace the wifi card installed in my laptop (Broadcom Limited BCM43142 802.11b / g / n (rev 01)) with a fully compatible with Linux, for example an atherosAR9462. Are there any limitations or restrictions on the part of the BIOS? Can anyone give me any suggestions?

Bad experience. I will never buy hp computers again. The BIOS is an obstacle to hardware functionality and windows as an operating system is no less ...
