hp probook 4510s
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

i just installed windows 10,but came to know that windows 10 does support the wireless adapter in my HP PROBOOK 4510s

Description: Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN
Driver version: 14.2.1.4

so what is the solution HP is  going to provide?

The solution i found is installing HP Wireless Assistant, which also enables the Bluetooth function of the HP ProBook 4510s.

In Windows10 under Device Manager it states the driver for the 5100 AGN is working properly. Which is true!

However HP made a additional feature - HP Wireless Assistant- which needs to be installed before being able to turn on/off WiFi (front slider button) and bluetooth (via application):

The application for the ProBook 4510s can be found here:

Set your language and software version to desired values.

direct download of HP Wireless Assistant (Windows 7 Professional 64-bit):

After spending hours for looking a solution it seems to work if you change the settings (Device manager, extended settings) to:   802.11n Channel Width for band 2.4  -   Auto

This worked for my HP Compag 6730 -  evt. you have to try other settings
