my Hp envy x360 laptop was downgraded to windows 10 after which it could no longer connect to Wi-Fi

I didnt my network adapter in the device manager or the system information panel also whenever i try to install the driver

"attempting to execute [driver name here]" shows up in the command prompt and it simply closes after that. from i even tried re installing windows and it doesnt seem to help. all the MT7921 drivers that ive installed have had the same issue where it says operation complete but nothing changes or driver successfully install on 0 devices etc. i tried to upgrade to win11 doesnt work ive tried all sorts of things and it simply doesnt help

Hello.

Try doing the HP power reset procedure first.

I recommend checking your BIOS settings whether the wireless adapter is turned on or off. Try loading the BIOS defaults. If there is no mention of wireless in BIOS, the adapter itself inside your computer may have faulted.

If your Windows 10 fails to upgrade into Windows 11, try installing the Windows 11 from USB drive.
