I am using HP pavilion DV6 windows 7, Bluetooth not detect any devices such as Head phone, tried so tips and online instructions, NO USE. Nothing helped. tried Bluetooth support services, Change Bluetooth settings, add device, Uninstall and install back Generic adapter. Any best solution Do you have ???

What model Wi-Fi adapter does your notebook come with?
The model number of the Wi-Fi adapter can be found in the device manager under the network adapters device manager category.
I can pretty much tell you what the problem is, and that is the correct Bluetooth driver is not installed for the Bluetooth adapter.
The Bluetooth adapter should not be listed in the device manager as a 'Generic Bluetooth adapter.'
It should have a specific model name such as Realtek, Ralink, Broadcom, Intel...
