Hi! @prorealtor, Thank you for joining the HP Forums!
I understand that you are getting error messages when using HP wireless assistant.
Please try few steps recommended below.
To install HP Wireless Assistant using the HP Recovery Manager, follow this procedure.
Reboot the notebook PC and then press F11 when the HP logo displays.
Click Advanced options on the HP Recovery Manager screen.
Follow the on-screen instructions to select to install the HP Wireless Assistant.
Reboot the notebook PC after completing the installation.
When the installation is complete, the HP Wireless Assistant icon is displayed in the system tray.
Refer this article to further troubleshoot the wireless assistant issue.

Hello Chetan;
Apparently your advice may have worked. Although after pressing F11 at the HP logo did not take me to any further steps, I could see that something more was processing on it's own. Once it rebooted I accessed the wireless assistant. No error message and I was able to confirm properties. Thanks.
