I would like to download hp wireless assistant because the old version did not work anymore and I uninstalled it. I have windows 7 professional

Hi:

 

This was the latest version of the HP wireless assistant software...

 

This package contains the HP Wireless Assistant for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The HP Wireless Assistant reports the power state and Microsoft Windows Device Manager status of integrated wireless devices, alerts the user when the status of a device changes, and enables the user to turn integrated wireless devices on and off.

You should be using the HP Connection Manager software on your notebook, which supeceded the HP Wireless Assistant software, but it works pretty much the same way.

 

This package provides the HP Connection Manager for the supported notebook running a supported operating system.
