Product: elite notebook 8740w
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I know that Paul T has found this driver back when hp supported, & he now offers link to helpjet.net.  I have been to that site but cannot know which of several files for W7 32b is right.
Part is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4238&SUBYS_111180&REV_35 as in prior post.

This is the latest W7 driver Intel has for that model wlan card...the first driver at the top left side of the page is for W7 32 bit.

Solved another issue, I was misreading wifi button. Must be blue, not amber. :catembarrassed:
