Wireless not working...i cannot activate it because it is not present in the list.

I recommend you use the latest Realtek wifi driver...

Hi:

 

Most likely you need to install the driver for the wireless network adapter.

 

This package contains the drivers for the supported Intel Wireless LAN adapters. This package is provided for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

Go to the device manager.

 

If the wifi card needs a driver, there will be a device listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller.

 

That is what Windows names the wifi adapter (card) when it needs a driver.

 

If you see that device, please post the hardware ID for it.

 

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device.

Yes, that is strange. 

 

That driver was right from your notebook's support page.

 

I guess you will have to use the older version that you originally installed.
